Sony Has A New Tablet Computer.

Posted In: by admin

Sony is moving ahead in the tablet computer market competition with the introduction of their new model the S1. This Android 3.0, or Honeycomb operating system based machine is now available.
The S1 Tablet is equipped with front and rear facing cameras, and has a great new style that is smooth and clean. The overall look of the S1 is a candy bar design, slightly rounded and very attractive when closed. The back has a textured finish, the front is smooth and smudge resistant.
Open it up and you see the 9.4 inch screen of the S1 covering most of the front of this tablet. Users will find that it is a very inviting screen to dive into. The screen is super bright and the touch keyboard onscreen is responsive and easy to control. The S1 tabllet overall is very light and feels much like a folded magazine. Sony has stated that the “lighter than it looks’ feel was part of their concept for this model, which has comfort in handling along with superior performance.
Outside, the machine has a micro-usb jack for synching, a headphone jack, and both the power and volume control buttons. Easily held in the hands the user can turn the S1 Tablet and change the view from vertical or portrait, to horizontal or landscape mode. This attribute is being coming more common in new tablet machines, but is still a fun and useful effect.
In addition to its Smartphone uses, the S1 tablet is PlayStation capable, and will be a great portable gaming device. It can stream video and audio directly from YouTube and it does support Flash, which is a big plus for many users. The Honeycomb OS has a favorites feature which quickly brings up the past most visited apps in an active icon form instead of as a list, and makes them instantly available again.
Overall the new S1 tablet from Sony should be a big winner and welcomed in the marketplace.
